Basic router settings and steps given to put modem in bridge mode.
Connect router
You would plug the DSL phone line into your DSL modem. From the modem, a network cable would plug into a port on the router labeled WAN (Wide Area Network). You would connect each computer into a separate port on the router through a network cable to gain Internet access.
Wireless routers usually have a small antenna on their tops. Instead of plugging into computers through network cables, a wireless router uses its antenna to send a signal to network cards inside computers. Wireless routers are primarily used for laptops, but also are used to avoid running cables everywhere.
BRIDGE MODE
You need to keep your modem in Bridged mode to connect it to router. To put the
modem in Bridge mode do the following:
1. In your web browser browse to http://192.168.0.1.
